The Atlantic hurricane season continues to roll through its traditionally most active time of year without a storm, however there is a growing chance that may change soon. Two systems — one in the Caribbean and the other near Cabo Verde — have a 40% chance of becoming a storm in the next week.
On the other side of the world, Storm Yagi is strengthening as it makes its way to China. The storm has already killed at least 15 people in the Philippines and forced thousands to flee to safer ground.
