Liberate Raises $50 Million to Expand Insurance-Focused AI Agents

Liberate (San Francisco) has raised $50 million in a Series B funding round led by Battery Ventures (Boston), with participation from Canapi Ventures and returning investors Redpoint Ventures, Eclipse, and Commerce Ventures. The round brings the company’s total funding to $72 million. Battery Ventures general partner Marcus Ryu, former CEO of Guidewire Software (San Mateo, Calif.), will join Liberate’s board.
