Cognizant (Teaneck, N.J.) had secured a Guinness World Records title for most participants in an online generative AI hackathon, with 53,199 employees from 40 countries taking part in a 10-day internal event known as Vibe Coding.

The event, which aimed to promote AI fluency across the enterprise, generated 30,601 prototype submissions. An official adjudicator confirmed the record achievement. Projects included a wellness app for human resources and a tool to support brand compliance
