ZestyAI (San Francisco) has announced that insurance regulators in West Virginia, Georgia, South Dakota, Montana, Oregon, and Utah have reviewed and accepted its Severe Convective Storm (SCS) risk models for use in carrier rate and rule filings. The approval includes the company’s Z-HAIL, Z-WIND, and Z-STORM models.
With the addition of these six states, ZestyAI’s SCS Suite is now approved for use in 29 states. The models support rating, underwriting, and reinsurance decisions in regions with frequent hail and wind losses.
