Fletch Technologies (New York) has announced what it describes as the first insurance policy purchase executed end-to-end by an agentic AI system in a controlled production environment. The transaction, completed with a large unnamed insurer, used Fletch’s API infrastructure and OpenAI models to guide a consumer through quoting, payment, and policy binding—all under the supervision of Fletch Insurance Services LLC, the company’s licensed agency.
