Harvey, LA – September 15, 2020 — Venture for America (VFA) is a two-year Fellowship for recent college grads who want to build companies and become entrepreneurs. They work to create economic opportunity in fourteen different American cities by mobilizing the next generation of entrepreneurs and equipping them with the skills and resources they need to create jobs.
VFA Fellows start with a rigorous recruitment process, then after being accepted, they attend a month-long training camp held by VFA to ready the cohort before they set out to start their careers and fellowship.
“I was recently introduced to the organization through a local business development associate who knew I was in search of a key hire. I immediately understood why he referred me, as the wealth of talent is almost overwhelming. I truly felt like a kid in a candy store and had a difficult time choosing one VFA Fellow – so, I hired two! I am thrilled to welcome these outstanding individuals to the rapidly growing E-Claim team.”, said Thomas Brown, President of E-Claim.com.
|Phillip Montgomery (aka, “PhilMont”, a place we both know well), a Stanford graduate, joined E-Claim in September 2020 as Operations Manager. Our mutual goal is to develop PhilMont into E-Claim’s next COO, and cultivate his talent, education, and skillset into a position lasting well beyond the typical Fellowship.|
|Krystal Kincaid joined E-Claim in September 2020 as Sales and Marketing Operations Analyst. While this position was a bit ahead of schedule, Krystal’s potential value to our marketing operations could not wait. Her enthusiasm, experience, education, and drive are a combination of traits in search of a place to excel. We believe she has found that place, and cannot be happier to have her with us.|
If your company is searching for talent, and you believe as I do that character and culture fit are more important than work history, please consider partnering with Venture for America.
